    It's large, lightweight, thin and pretty.

    It’s large enough to cover the area. I am not that fond of where I currently have the litter box located, but it is large enough for me to put it up against the baseboard and furniture. I also use an assurance mat on top of it, which is easy to pick up and throw out, which should cut down on how many times that I have to wash this mat. I also use a track mat. You can see all that in the second photo. The color is pretty, it’s like a quilted cloth, thin and has a backing. I am probably going to get some of those plastic cat box shields, but so far, only litter thrown out of the box while my cat covers up waste has been outside the litter box. I have not used the UV light yet to see if there are any pet stains on the furniture, but I don’t see any trace yet. Not sure how this will do, but I think it will help contain the mess. It comes with 2 mats, which is nice because you can wash it as put the other one down for use. I have not washed it yet.
